Bio Alison McGrath Howard has been in private practice since 2001. She has advanced training in neuropsychological assessment, couples therapy, and group psychotherapy. As a board member for the Mid-Atlantic Group Psychotherapy Society, Dr. Howard established the Anti-Racism Task Force in 2020, which is now a full committee of the Board. She has recently completed a term as Associate Director of Diversity and Outreach for the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis, and has led or co-led several white affinity groups. Dr. Howard has taught for the Chicago School of Professional Psychology., the George Washington University and has a faculty position with Georgetown University's School of Medicine. Dr. Howard is a candidate with the Institute for the Psychoanalytic Study of Subjectivity. |

Bio Margaret Wilmot Francis is a predoctoral extern in the 4th year of her clinical psychology doctoral program (PsyD) at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She obtained her BA in Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and her MA in Forensic Psychology from Argosy University-Inland Empire. Currently, she is a licensed psychology associate in Washington, DC. Margaret strives to cultivate a safe and professional environment centered around processing and working through one's traumas and interpersonal issues. Margaret is trained in cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic therapy, but hopes to further expand her skills. In her personal live, Margaret enjoys personal training and hiking. |
